Joining the movement with hundreds of thousands of people across the country is an experience like no other. We walk together to make a powerful statement, and to keep moving toward a cure. Form or join a team, raise funds and walk to help people affected by MS. Each step you take brings us closer to a world free of MS.
The Fort Worth Walk will be held this year again at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Day of Event registration and check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the Walk steps out at 9 a.m. You can walk, run or skate along either a 1-mile or a 5K route past the Kimball Art Museum and Will Rogers Memorial Center. Join the festivities with your friends, family, co-workers, and yes, even your canine companions. Participants will enjoy free food and entertainment before and after the event.
There is no cost to register for the Walk, and there is no minimum pledge, but the average participant raises $225. It’s easy to beat the average with our online tools and fundraising section. Team Up At The Walk
Forming a team in the Walk MS makes the fundraising and day of event experience that much easier and more exciting. Teams are made up of at least 4 members and are a great way to involve friends, family and co-workers in the MS movement. Teams can qualify for special incentives and awards, and they get to work directly with our very own Kelly Dooley or Justin Martin to create the best Walk MS experience possible.
